as Toad
Centenary Stage Company
Directed by Lea Antolini-Lid
Various dates & times
The musical, A Year with Frog and Toad remains true to the spirit of the original stories as it follows two great friends, the cheerful Frog and the grumpy Toad, through four fun-filled seasons. Waking from hibernation in the spring, they proceed to plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, and go sledding, learning life’s lessons along the way, including a most important one about friendship and the unique attributes that make every individual different and special.
A Year with Frog and Toad is adapted for the stage by Robert and Willie Reale from the book by Arnold Lobel.

Cymbeline
as Caius Lucius & Ensemble
Centenary College
Directed by Stephen Davis
March 22, 23, & 25 (2 show day), 2012 @ 2pm, 7:30pm, & 8pm times
As dizzyingly eventful a drama as Shakespeare ever conceived, Cymbeline tells of a beautiful princess separated from her beloved, the cruel step-mother who tries to foil her, a credulous husband duped by an adversary, an exiled nobleman who kidnaps a king’s sons and a Roman invasion of Britain.

The Threepenny Opera
as Mr. J.J. Peachum
Centenary College
Directed by Carl Wallnau
A milestone of 20th century musical theatre, The Threepenny Opera rolls unstoppably into the 21st century. In this opera “by and for beggars,” playwright and composer transformed saccharine, old-fashioned opera and operetta forms, while incorporating sharp political perspective and the sound of 1920’s Berlin dance bands and cabaret. Includes the famous song “Mack the Knife”.
